Conference Report: Berlin 6G Conference 2025

From July 1st to July 3rd, 2025, the Berlin 6G Conference brought together over 1,000 participants from more than 15 countries, marking a significant milestone in the global journey toward next-generation mobile communications. The German consortium of the USWA project hosted its own booth with posters and hardware exhibitions in the event. Read the full report here.

EuCNC 2025 special session “DECT NR+” was held with MERCI project in Poznan, Poland, on June 6, 2025. See “DECT NR+” for more information on the event and talks. USWA project hosted also a booth in the EuCNC event.

Joonas Säe from Tampere University was interviewed (YouTube video link on left) for DECT Today Magazine, May 2025. The USWA project was also covered during the interview.

The fourth USWA consortium meeting was held in Istanbul, Türkiye, on May 7th and 8th, 2025. Photo of USWA meeting participants in Istanbul.

USWA Winter School was organised at Ruka, Finland, from February 12^th to 14^th, 2025.

The second results webinar of the USWA project was held on November 26, 2024.

Berlin 6G conference 2024 was held from July 2^nd to 4^th. The event had more than 900 participants. Latest developments and the future of 6G in various verticals such as industrial automation and connected health were discussed. Several proof of concepts, demos, and showcases for e.g. industrial, robotics, and automotive use cases were presented.
